Volunteer Service

Team Green Leaves, a volunteer service group founded at our museum in 2007, comprises tea enthusiasts ready to help others and eager to spread Chinese tea culture. Now we have 200 plus registered volunteers from all walks of life, more than 50 parent-child volunteers, over 500 volunteers from enterprises and schools, and even international students from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, Zhejiang Gongshang University, and other schools. They guide visitors on museum tours, and they can speak foreign languages, know tea well, and have many skills. They are happy to answer visitors’ questions, provide a free guided tour twice a day, serve in tea tastings, assist children and adolescents in their Extracurricular Programs, and support major events such as the Cultural Heritage Day and Tea Drinking Day. They organize tea parties, lectures, and other learning activities regularly to enhance friendship. Each team member is an ambassador of tea culture that tells the wonderful story of Chinese tea.
