Beauty Shared by All: Donated Tea Ware and Cultural Relics Return

brief introduction

Since the museum’s opening in 1991, a total of 323 sets (pieces) of cultural relics have been donated free of charge, making the museum’s collections more diverse. The Purple Clay Tea Ware Exhibition exhibits more than 100 pieces (sets) donated by Wu Yuanming and his son Wu Weiyi, showing the development of purple clay tea ware from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Republic of China from the perspectives of history, clay, modeling, decoration, and Kung Fu Tea. The exhibition is divided into five chapters: “History of Purple Clay Tea Ware”, “The Clay”, “Modeling of Purple Clay Tea Ware”, “Decoration of Purple Clay Tea Ware,” and “The Kung Fu Tea Ware”.
